Erin Oshan

I’m 13 years old, sitting in the dining room of a cruise ship, when someone near the window shouts, “WHALES”! I ran over to the window to witness a pod of Orcas swimming next to boat. This was THE moment that I was hooked on adventures. I didn’t realize it at the time but that cruise to Alaska sparked a life long passion for travel and new experiences.

As a high school science teacher, I have had close to 20 years of planning experience. As a teacher, I have been fortunate to have time off in the summer to explore the world. I have always been the one to plan the trips for my friends and family. People are always asking me for my itineraries and more recently these same people have asked me to plan their trips. A light bulb went off and here I am! At your service!

The experiences I have personally gained through travel have shaped who I am. Whether it was teaching in a rural classroom in Zimbabwe, shark diving in Cape Town, having tea with locals in Thailand, hiking to Machu Picchu or driving the West Coast of US; the same lesson was evident. Life is short, the world is big – make time to learn and enjoy it!
