I am a first generation Italian American. The first time I went to visit my family in Italy I was 6 years old. I remember lifting the shade on the airplane window as I awoke. The snow covered Alps looked like they were touching the plane. My curious eyes were glued to the window the rest of the flight. We trained from Rome to Florence - the wonder of travel, the sounds of a train station, the particular pace of a train, and the people you are sharing moments with as you travel is unique.

Travel is powerfully transformative to the imagination and the soul and Italy and travel had captured mine.

My bride Mary Elizabeth and I began our adventures together on our honeymoon to Italy in 1993 for 30 days. We have been traveling all over the world ever since.
