Travel became my desire many years ago and in 1985 I ventured into the industry. After many years of managing a mid-sized corporate agency, I decided to pursue my goal and bought Travelong of Summit to immerse myself in leisure travel, retiring from the world of corporate travel.

My background is in finance and administration and I leave travel sales in the hands of our twelve extremely capable travel professionals - except for Southern Africa, which is my specialty. Born in South Africa, I have visited the country some 30 times, alone or with groups, and consider myself knowledgeable of all aspects regarding travel to the region.
