Santa Barbara Travel was founded by Bertie de L’Arbre in 1947. An accomplished world traveler Bertie provided valuable knowledge and experience to the growing, affluent Santa Barbara community. His around-the-world travels and  expertise quickly established Santa Barbara Travel Bureau as the elite resource for trip planning. Over the years the company added staff and expanded its portfolio of services to include corporate travel, and entertainment travel.
