Sustainability
Our Commitment
Manoir Hovey is proud to use and showcase its local producers. In fact, 80% of our fruits and vegetables are from small local producers and 100% of our cheeses are from the province of Quebec. As a member of the Relais & Châteaux association, we put a priority on sustainability in our kitchen practices. Each year we take part in events such as the UN World Oceans Day and Food for Change (in collaboration with Slow Food).
Manoir Hovey has also implemented a beekeeping program. Our professional beekeeper is always proud to showcase our beehives and explain the many benefits of having bees on Manoir Hovey's site.
We have also eliminated single-use plastic bottles. We have adopted "Q-Water" a system which uses filtering to transform tap water into the highest quality still or sparkling water. All rooms and suites offer Manoir Hovey branded glass decanters containing filtered Q-Water.
Our rooms are equipped and designed to be energy efficient. Manoir Hovey strives to conduct business in a way that is congruent with the sustainable development.
