Established in 1991, &Beyond strives to leave our world a better place through the delivery of extraordinary travel experiences and our care of the land, wildlife and people. We are bespoke tour operators for sub-Saharan Africa, Asia, South America, and Antarctica. We also own and manage 29 extraordinary lodges and camps across three continents. We positively impact 75 communities and directly conserve our footprint of 1 million acres. Our 2030 vision is to scale our impact through partnerships to support the conservation of an associated 40 million acres of key biospheres and to double our 2020 impact investment, while offering discerning travellers a rare and exclusive experience of the world as it should be.

Our Commitment

From our greater conservation model down to the tiniest details of the activities that take place in our lodges every day, every decision that we make revolves around our core ethic of Care of the Land, Care of the Wildlife and Care of the People.

Whether it’s participating in the reintroduction and protection of an endangered species like the black rhino or pangolin, supporting and facilitating educational, health and small business development projects within neighbouring rural communities, or simply managing the recycling and reuse of lodge waste material, we consciously look for ways to leave a positive legacy through all of our actions.

In the context of our business:

CARE OF THE LAND embraces sustainable and efficient use of natural resources with the aim of minimising our physical footprint and the impact that our operations have on land and ocean environments.

CARE OF THE WILDLIFE is defined in our conservation strategy and, where possible, active land management to maintain biodiversity. It includes the protection of endangered species, both land and marine.

OF THE PEOPLE, the third pillar of our core ethic, is our community strategy of community empowerment through our localised shared value opportunities, closely supported by our community development partner, Africa Foundation.
