Sustainability
Our Commitment
In Food & Beverage, our property takes concrete measures against the waste of food. In order to minimizing food waste, it is in the interest of the hotel to offer guests healthy food of very good quality. Particular attention is paid to the purchase of seasonal and regional food. Furthermore we do not only try to promote the local economy, we also trade environmentally friendly because of the short transport distances. For national products we pay attention to organic certifications to offer our guests a pleasant culinary experience. Threatened fish species were completely taken out from our menus.
Further, the Accor Group is replacing plastic cotton swabs entirely with cardboard cotton swabs. Other proposed measures include not using plastic straws and the idea of reducing the consumption of plastic cups and cocktail mixers to reduce and, if possible, entirely to renounce. To take a step in the right direction of saving water, our guests can decide if how often they want to change towels and sheets. By small information cards at our rooms & suites we put attention to the fact that the multiple uses of bed linen and towels can save a lot of water and energy. In addition, we manage to relieve the environment through this initiative because significantly less detergent is used.
