The Guggenheim in Venice tour

You will meet your Captain at ship dock or at tender mooring; he will wait for you handling the Onirikos arrival board and he will introduce you to your Guide.

A comfortable, safe and reliable boat will escort you to the Peggy Guggenheim Museum in Venice. An exclusive entrance to the Peggy Guggenheim Museum will be reserved for you.

This Collection is among the most important museums in Italy for European and American art of the first half of the 20th century. It is located in Peggy Guggenheim's former home, Palazzo Venier dei Leoni, on the Grand Canal in Venice. The museum presents Peggy Guggenheim's personal collection, masterpieces from the Gianni Mattioli Collection, the Nasher Sculpture Garden, as well as temporary exhibitions.

The Peggy Guggenheim Collection is owned and operated by the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation, which also operates the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York, the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, and the Deutsche Guggenheim, Berlin.

The core mission of the museum is to present the personal collection of Peggy Guggenheim herself. The collection holds major works of Cubism, Futurism, Metaphysical painting, European abstraction, avant-garde sculpture, Surrealism, and American Abstract Expressionism, by some of the greatest artists of the 20th century.

After the visit your Captain will escort you back to the Port.

Hotel Bookings:

- from time of confirmation to 61 days prior to arrival 30% of the total amount due is not refundable;

- between 60 and 31 days prior to arrival 50% of the total amount due is not refundable;

- from 30 days prior to arrival or in case of no show 100% of the total amount due is not refundable.

Train, Flight, Ferry, Museum, Concerts, Events, Sports and Fashion show Tickets:

- 100% non refundable at the time of the booking.

All other services:

- from time of confirmation to 121 days prior to arrival no penalty will be charged;

- between 120 and 61 days prior to arrival 30% of the total amount due is not refundable;

- between 60 and 31 days prior to arrival 75% of the total amount due is not refundable;

- from 30 days prior to arrival or in case of no show 100% of the total amount due is not refundable.
