After your international arrival into Santiago, your luxury travel experience begins with a private transfer to the exclusive Vik Chile property, located in the picturesque Chilean Wine Region. Embark on gentle active excursions through the scenic valley on foot, bike, or horseback, then attend exclusive private tastings at handpicked vineyards. Return to Santiago to visit the cultural and historic highlights of Chile’s modern capital. These include La Chascona, Pablo Neruda’s house, the central Plaza de Armas, and the trendy Lastarria neighborhood. Finally, your luxury tour of Easter Island will take you deep in the South Pacific. There, you will embark on hiking excurious to explore the legendary island, also a UNESCO World Heritage site. You will see the famous Maori statues up close, visit the quarry where the stone was mined, and hike along the island’s breathtaking volcanic craters. Head to the windswept northern coast of the island to truly appreciate the immense landscape before taking a dip in the South Pacific for swimming and snorkeling in sparkling waters and isolated beaches.

Day 1
San Vicente, Chile

International flight arrival in Santiago. Greeting by your personal host at the Santiago airport and private two-hour drive to Vik Chile in the Chilean Wine country. Drive past rural vineyards, private estates, and the surrounding Andes mountains. Upon arrival at your hotel, settle in to your accommodations. Afterwards, enjoy a gentle hike through property’s vineyards before savoring a delicious dinner on the property and an evening at leisure.

Day 2
San Vicente, Chile

Hotel: Vik Chile
Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

The following day, begin your wine tour in Chile. You will be greeted by your personal guide and taken to the nearby Colchagua Valley for a full day exploring the region’s best wineries and vineyards. Begin the day touring Neyen vineyard, where you will visit the oldest cellar in the Apalta Valley. Following a private tasting of some of the excellent wines of the vineyard Montes, indulge in a delicious lunch in the spectacular setting at acclaimed chef Francis Mallman’s only Chilean venture, in a restaurant located directly in the middle of the vines. From there, return to Vik Chile to enjoy the rest of your day at leisure to relax and explore the many luxurious amenities of the hotel.

Day 3
San Vicente, Chile

On your third day, you will have the option to choose from a wide variety of excursions that can be arranged at the beautiful property of Vik Chile. Enjoy horseback riding through the Millahue Valley with the Andes in the background, or enjoy a morning yoga class with expansive views of the valley, or relaxing at Vik’s holistic spa. At mid-day, continue to Vik’s own organic vegetable garden before enjoying a private, gourmet picnic in the middle of the Vik vineyards. Afterward, you will continue to the Vik winery located on the property, which uses innovative, cutting-edge technology combined with the unique terroir of Millahue to create blends of cabernet sauvignon, carménère, merlot, syrah, and cabernet franc. After a private tour and tasting, continue back to the property to relax for your final evening in Chilean Wine Country.

Day 4
Santiago, Chile

Hotel: Singular Santiago
Meals: Breakfast

Greeting by your personal guide and private transfer north to Santiago. On the way, stop at one of Chile’s top wineries, Concha Y Toro, for a private tour and tasting. Arrive in Santiago, check-in at your hotel and out with your guide for a private guided tour of the main sightseeing attractions of the city. Highlights include the Plaza de Armas with its 18th century cathedral in the heart of the city, Constitution Plaza with its La Moneda Palace – the seat of executive power, and the Chilean Museum of Pre-Columbian Art, and the attractive neighborhoods of París-Londres and Santa Lucía. Explore the central neighborhoods, such as the bohemian Bellavista, as you learn about this thriving and rapidly-changing metropolis. In the afternoon, go with your guide to the San Cristóbal lookout point which boasts spectacular views of the city and its surrounding mountains before a fantastic dinner at a top recommended restaurant.

Day 5
Santiago, Chile

Greeting by your Blue Parallel guide to visit La Chascona, the private home of famed Chilean writer Pablo Neruda. Following your visit, savor a recommended lunch at a nearby restaurant, before returning to your hotel to relax at leisure. Alternatively, we can arrange for you to explore some of Santiago's best high-end shopping with a personal guide, or enjoy a visit to some of the city's finest museums such as the Museum of Fine Arts and the Contemporary Art Museum.

Day 6
Easter Island, Chile

Hotel: Explora Rapa Nui
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Greeting by your personal host and check-in assistance for your 5-hour flight to Easter Island, considered by many to be the most isolated inhabited island in the world. Upon arrival at the Explora Rapa Nui, marvel at the dramatic open landscape with the backdrop of the Pacific Ocean. After you settle in, meet with your specialist guide who will introduce you to the highlights of the area and explain the various excursions offered at the lodge. As experts in the region, we will provide you with exciting excursion recommendations based on your interests and fitness level.

Begin your first afternoon (in private or in a small group) with a hike to Pui Rano Raraku to explore the lower slopes of the volcano, then visit the Moai quarry. This quarry once supplied the island’s stone that the Rapa Nui used to create the mysterious Moai statues that have perplexed visitors ever since Dutch explorers came across the island on Easter Sunday in 1722. In the evening back at your lodge, indulge in a gourmet meal with vintage Chilean wines.

Day 7
Easter Island, Chile

Hotel: Explora Rapa Nui

With your personal guide, begin the day with a hike along the Ahu Tahira platform until you reach the edge of the Rano Kau crater, with striking views of the Pacific Ocean. During this hike, you will learn about the importance of the historic "Birdman" competition. Choose between the options to bike to the Tongariki, the fifteen moai statues on the largest part of the island where afterwards you may take a swim in the natural lagoon on the route back. If preferred, take a transfer to visit the picturesque moai with a hike at the Papa Vaka archaeological site, all the while enjoying the breathtaking views. In the evening, savor a delicious meal at the hotel.

Day 8
Easter Island, Chile

Hotel: Explora Rapa Nui
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

In the morning, meet with your guide for a full day exploring the northern coast which is the most uninhabited part of the island, a truly unique place in the world for its rugged and remote landscape. While you visit archeological sites and take in expansive views, see the diverse local wildlife native to the island. Following a picnic lunch set against views of the island’s steep cliffs and ocean, continue to Anakena Beach. Anakena´s pristine beauty with white sand and crystal clear waters makes it one of the most beautiful spots on the island. In the evening, enjoy panoramic sunset views and take in the magnetic energy of the island during a delightful dinner at your lodge.

Day 9
Santiago, Chile

Hotel: None
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Following breakfast, meet your guide to go to Ovahe Beach for a snorkeling excursion where you will see a variety of wildlife in the clear water. Afterwards, return to your lodge where you can enjoy lunch before heading to the airport for your flight back to Santiago. Upon your arrival in Santiago, your personal guide will greet you to assist you with your check-in and luggage for your international flight home.
